Jam Loey Rak

First of all, AGGGHHHHHHHH! I love love LOVE this Lakorn.  I love Aum Atichart and Aff Taksaorn together.  Too bad shes getting married in real life. Altho, I DO like her boyfriend and her together.  But anywho, this is a must see Lakorn.  I think the only bad thing about this one is Sansanee's  (Joy Rinalee) hair. HAHA! The plot is very well thought out and the script made my heart melt! 8*) The character that Aum plays is very Type B and Aff's character is not helpless like many other nang'eks in other Lakorns.  All in all, you cannot possibly dislike this one.  Lets just say, I almost died when it ended.  I absolutely love the song also. I posted it below, the lyrics are very touching. <3

                                                                                                 Here is a quick summary:

Harit (Aum) is a business man who owns a pearl farm in the industry.  One day he finds his brother dead from suicide.  He misunderstands and believes that Soraya (Aff) is Sansanee (Joy Rinalee), the one who caused his brother to die.  So, he goes out and kidnaps Soraya from her aunt's home and imprisons her on an island (of course its HIS island...bc you know, its Aum).  Soraya tries hard to convince that she is not the culprit but also does not want to reveal that her cousin is the one.  You will see alot of anger and vengeance in this lakorn. While, at the same time, you get to see how hate can turn to love.

*I rate this a 10/10! You'll keep wanting to watch from episode one to the last!

Jai Rao

Another Lakorn I've watched recently is Jai Rao with Ken Theeradeth and Aff Taksaorn.  I really liked this lakorn, but then the last episodes became...weird.  I believe there was an older version, but don't take my word for it.  The directors tried making the ending different...in very Korean-su ways...which ended up bothering me.  No spoilers, but lets just say that there's a good message to the ending.  Again, I loved Ken's acting & character in here.  You can tell how much he did love Aff's character.  ANNNNDDD! This is the first time I've seen him but I adored Not Vorarit's character!  He may not be the most handsome, but his character showed through.  If you didn't know who he is, he is dating Joy Rinlanee. AND! The OST in this is wonderful.  I posted the song below. Very romantic and matches the story oh-so-well.

Here is a SUMMARY:

You meet Vic (Ken) and he receives THEE #1 Thai actor (in the lakorn and my heart, atm) award.  Chorlada (Aff) comes to the event to congratulate Vic on his success.  Vic gets angry (like the usual) and leaves, WHICH, of course - Chorlada faints (don't worry, she faints and cries in every episode).  He carries and takes her to his home; which, paparazzi and tabloids start to follow their relationship.  The rest of the Lakorn reveals why Vic holds a grudge on Chorlada and how she attempts to regain a good image in Vic's heart.  Of course there are other dramatic plots and characters but they only made this Lakorn better.  Really enjoyed this lakorn.  I highly recommend if you are in the mood for Romance&Comedy- with some action.

I RATE this a  9/10.  I love Ken and Aff together, BUT...I haven't gotten to Jam Loy Rak yet. That's a WHOLE 'nother story.

Sawan Biang

The latest Lakorn that I have been watching (or rather, fast forwarding through) is Sawan Biang.  And the only reason is because of Ken Theeradeth! And I will be honest, I am not a fan of Ann Thongprasom.  I liked her in Manee Yard Fah with Willy McIntosh when I was 10 yrs old.  But honestly....shes getting old.  There's nothing wrong with that but the characters that shes been playing just don't fit her (and again, that's just my own opinion).  But what I love about Ken, versus many other Thai actors, are his facial expressions.  *To die for.  And not simply because he is eye candy, but because his feelings actually show through.

Song from the lakorn:

Here is a quick SUMMARY:

Narin's (Ann) sister Lee loses her fiance due to an accident caused by Kawee's (Ken) father, Khun Kid.  Both Lee and Khun Kid lose their significant other in the crash so they get together (EVEN THO, he is supposingly 60, but looks like early 50's AND she is only 20 something).  Kawee is enraged because he feels that his father cannot be without a woman, especially, younger women.  So he takes his anger out on Lee's sister, Narin, when they are taken in by Kawee's father.  This leads to the many events of love & hate AND controversies (as seen on the youtube           comments, you'll know what I mean).

I RATE this lakorn a 7/10.  ONLY because, Ann Thongprasom was the nang'ek.  But if it were Aff Taksaorn, it'd be a 9/10.  8)
